This is a personal site. I don't sell anything, run ads, or ask you to sign up. Here's what's collected when you visit.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (through Firebase) to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as:
- the pages you view and how long you stay
- the site or link that brought you here
- your approximate location (country and city)
- your device type, browser and screen size
I only look at this as aggregate reports. It doesn't tell me who you are, and I don't combine it with any other data. Google processes it under its own privacy policy. You can read more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Opting out
You can stop analytics in any of these ways:
- block or clear cookies in your browser settings
- use a browser or extension that blocks trackers
- install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
The site works the same either way.
What I don't collect
There are no accounts, forms, comments or newsletters here, so I don't collect your name, email address or any other personal details.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Firebase App Hosting (Google Cloud), which keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to run and secure the service.
Links to other sites
Links to LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, my older blog and other sites are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.
